Mountain Bike Nevada is a fully supported, non-competitive, 11 day mt. bike tour across central Nevada supporting public education in Nevada. This epic point to point ride starts at the CA/NV state line at Crystal Bay on the Lake Tahoe’s north shore. It ends over 500 miles, 16 mountain ranges and 11 days later on the NV/UT state line just east of Baker, NV at the base on Great Basin National Park. This route highlights some of Nevada’s premier State Parks, historical sites and trail systems.

·        Virginia City and the Comstock Lode

·        Ft Churchill State Park

·        Pony Express Trail

·        The Central Nevada Highlands

·        Ghost Town of Ophir

·        Rest day in historic Eureka

·        Ward Charcoal Ovens State Monument

·        Cave Lake State Park

·        Great Basin National Park

 

This exclusive adventure is limited to 50 riders who will ride by day and camp by night along some of Nevada’s most rural and isolated landscapes.

A documentary film is being planned to record this unique crossing on mt. bike which is primarily all off road. $100 of each rider’s fees will be donated to the Nevada Public Education Foundation. Sponsored riders or teams are encouraged to maximize fundraising efforts.
